Easy Spanish Rice

Easy Spanish Rice is a great side dish for tacos or burritos.  I've been making this Spanish Rice for several years.  I was looking for something quick and easy that didn't use instant or minute rice and this one fit the bill.  It takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish.  You can find the original recipe on the Betty Crocker website.  I've changed a few things because I found the proportions for the water and tomato sauce made the rice sloppy.

This is a mild rice dish so if you like it hotter feel free to swap out some of the sweet green peppers for peppers with some heat.

Printable recipe at end of post.
